  • Hello again. We've lowered the price some just now and are always open to offers. 612-805-2428. Thanks again for the comments and for your interest! -John Snell

  • Very interesting.

But what documents are used to show it is a 1966 model since it is a new built car? I'm asking since my country would ask for some documentation of its registration year, for it to be registered as a vintage/classic....

  • Hey thanks for asking, it is registered as a 1966 so that information is documented in the ownership papers (the Title).

  • Great looking reproduction! I like the Webbers and knock off wheels. I think the engine is a little too quiet. The Webbers & bundle of snakes usually makes for a loud & vicious sound. If 4 sale, how much? Over the years I worked on many original gt40's and know the car better then most. Again, great looking car.

  • Thanks for the comment, I am currently asking $149,500 - there is a link to more photos and video in the description. Just wish we could have shot this car outside earlier in the season - it is a true beauty in the summer sun.

  • @monstermash1978 Right on brother, you could buy the real thing for that kind of money, what an absolute dreamer this guy is.

  • Beautiful. Do your research its a GT40 not a GT. So quit bouncing 100,000 for a new one around you'd be lucky to find a gt40 Replica in this condition for the price. I was watching Barret Jackson and one was auctioned for over 1million you keep Dreaming "kid".

  • awesome car americans build the coolest clasic cars (1950-1980) they look great but they suck at fuel consumption and reliability but still they are great!

  • does anybody know the price of cars like this in america, not exactly this, cause it seems a little too expensive, but one with a smilar good engine for a nice price

  • Makes all the right noises.

  • @HaleFire7 No I must admit I couldn't afford the real thing either, I just can't imagine someone with a spare 150.000 kicking around their bank account going out and buying a replica when they could buy a very nice original car, brand new and with a full warranty and customer support etc, knowing it was built correctly, and safe in the knowledge any spare parts you may require would all fit.

  • @SimboSays Depends. I'll never have the money to blow on the real thing. One coming up for sale is rare enough. Of course I'd want the real thing if I could, but its NOT practical. I'd want a replica because its damn near the same car with mild, modern improvements; plus I wouldn't have to sell my house to get one or worry if it got a few scratches from usage. This price may be a tad high, but is a far shot from what you'd pay for a "real" one.

  • @HaleFire7 Would you prefer the real thing or a very expensive replica sir?

  • @SimboSays May I please join your fantasy world?

  • isnt the engine sapose to be a v8???

  • My biggest concerns would be 1. How close is it really to the original? Do parts interchange? And 2. is it "sorted out"... does it rattle and things like that?
