  • I just listened to Chris Whitley. What an amazing song writer. However, I think Joe Bonamassa did an amazing job with this song. I love it.

  • I like Bonamassa's version better.

  • Chris Whitley wrote this song...No one can ever capture the raw rage emanating from Whitley.....I agree.....this is over produced garbage...ruined the song......Joe sounds like a talented guy, but he should stick to writing his own material.

  • @sas2566 a friend of mine turned me on to chris whitley along time ago and your right he is a bad ass musican and this song sounds like one of his.

  • peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen

  • Whitley's version--the original--is so much stronger than this. I'm with egmond on this.

The original is angry, vicious, raw, and growling. This just can't match it.

  • he took a song that was stripped down and recorded in a barn with one man and a banjo, and turned it into this orchestrated garbage.

  • Actually this song was written by Chris Whitley. Don't know if it's on YouTube, buy you should check him out, you'll it! Dust Radio is his best known song

  • Intense tune..what a great writer!! and player....never stop JOE!!!..you are the future of the Blues...
