You know, looking back, I'm glad they used cel-shaded graphics. Wind Waker was actually a pretty dark game, and if they had used realism for the game play....my god. ಥ_ಥ

This makes me so nostalgic I can't even stand it. I remember when this first came out, and no one took it too seriously, then we all played through and realized what a masterpiece it was...Oh those were the days. Beautiful graphics in this game too. You can always count on Zelda to make wonderful graphics without having the same style every time :)

@lordkamakazi Nah, not at all, my games were MM, OoT, ALttP, and the original Zelda. Wind Waker is spectacular though, I wasn't a big fan at first but then I played through it a second time and realized how brilliant and deep the plot is, plus the graphics are actually pretty beautiful. I also just started playing Skyward Sword, and it's amazing! So colorful and the controls are pretty damn good. Plus I love flying my Loftwing.

Is it bad if I didn't play this as a kid? I played Zelda II: The Adventure of Link when I was a kid lol. This one is my favorite. It didn't match the hype of "OMG ZELDA IN 3D!" when OoT came out, but this is still my favorite. I just got Skyward Sword this week though, and I'm loving it!

@Valoe7 Are you kidding?! The Animations on this game scared the crap out me when I was small! When the squids come out of the water, when you see the first boss, the mini boss for the boomerang. *shiver*

I borrowed from a friend, im thinking of buying OoT for the virtual console but my Z button on my GC controller doesnt work and i think i need it.

And yeah, the graphics of the Wii are pretty bad. I tried the TP re-release on it (didn't have the chance to play it before) and it actualy hurt my eyes. But back then, GC graphics were far superior to ps2 and xbox. Anyway, abou the views, don't take it personaly mate. It's just people usually look for stuff they know. Make your covers as video responces I say ;)
