QUESTION: When you put the drops on, does it smooth out and only dry the polish or does it dry on top of it like a layer of top coat?

I can't live without the Seche Vite topcoat. I seriously, cannot live without it. It keeps my nailpolish looking fresh for a week. Plus, when I put it on, it makes my nails look like an expensive car paint job... if that makes any sense. Shiny and beautiful :D
