when i first saw leppard live they were opening up for ozzy, and i still remember when they started playing i remember some guy standing next to me and he said holy shit who are these guys, and i was thinking the same, they blew ozzy off the stage and this was when ozzy still had randy rhodes

I agree, G&R was really a blues band. Did you ever hear the rumors that Slash couldn't actually play guitar, and there would be someone back stage playing his parts live? That was a wild one.

Ratt wasn't even pop metal, they were more straight up. I HATE how people generalize 80s bands. They wern't all in that fad or whatever, The worst is when people suggest Guns 'n' roses was a part of it... UGHHH
