We use them,abuse them,neglect them,starve them,and disgard them.The human race is a disgrace!

I can only speak as a person who spent a mere week in Mauritania, but in that week I saw no human suffering as blatantly and violently inflicted as I saw etched into the flesh of these poor animals. I did not see one animal, not one, walking the streets of Nouakchott without an open, maggot infested wound yet they pulled tons of water, steel and cement. Mauritanians may not appreciate them, but life would grind to a halt without them.

@dubfoundry I see what you are trying to say still no way to defend those people...I was born and spent most of my life in a 3rd world country on its path to be a developped one, but it always made me sick to see people not wanting to move forward and having such an ignorant mind...you cant defendn such acts, you just can NOT. there are countries that dont have any natural resources like japan but still decided to make it through hard work..Got it?

your an obvious idiot for commenting on a convosation that you dont know about.... my response was to a comment made by a spoiled american disrespecting the people and the country...i myself was born and raised in a thrid world country and if you read my comment again you will see the context of my response...so maybe next time you'll check before you waist your breath.
-
You shut down spoiled american, since when did you know what the 3rd world is and what it is about? if you dont know dont defend...

Yes, there are many poor, needy people in Mauritania, BUT, the people are beaten with heavy rubber pieces or metal pieces. Nor are the people made to carry such heavy loads on their back until it breaks them.

With all respect, in my four years living in Mauritania I have only seen donkeys bleeding, broken limbs, starving, left to die from disease and infection, NEVER any human seen suffering like that. It is the poorest, illiterate men that are causing this suffering to the donkeys. I live here to helpe the donkeys and try and educate the people. What does the Koran say about treatment of animals?
