An elf, a human and a dwarf teaming up? What a wacky scenario!

@Lowieiscool There are a lot of books about Middle Earth, but only these four (wich I consider two: The Hobbit and The Lord of The Rings) were published when Tolkien was alive. Now we have The Silmarillion, The Children of Húrin and the enormous History of Middle Earth, compiled by Christoper Tolkien, JRR's son.

@AscotMusic The Lord of the Rings was created by Tolkien as an only book (with six books in it), but the first publisher told him to split the story into three parts, which are The Fellowship of the RIng, The Two Towers and The Return of the King, containing two books each one.
I hope I have answered your question^^

good game!)))

@Divinesunone The thing is: Skyrim has no Multiplayer for the Moment so I think most of the Fun in WITN lies in the Multiplayer and the Lord of the Rings feeling

@Apocalypsam WITN has better combat and it's more addictive. Different people, different tastes I guess. However, WITN certainly needs more recognition. It's one of the best loot games on consoles.

this game is so underrated.

Lord of the Rings was originally 6 books wasn't it?

@devilantony100 No. But Tolkien created a whole universe (Middle-earth) beginning with "The Hobbit" (being filmed right now by Peter Jackson) and many letters and stories like "The Fall of Númenor", which have been published in "The Silmarillion" and "The History of Middle-Earth". The Silmarillion also includes the story of Beleriand, which is heavyly based in nordic mythology and which in some way lay the ground works for the back story of "Lord of the Rings".
