Listen as the announcer reveals secret details of the 2012 Mustang BOSS 302. This certainly wasn't the intent of Ford to have these details released, and it doesn't sound like the announcer is speculating.

For those who are lazy, I'll paraphrase. In addition to the new intake manifold, they targeted a higher redline than the GT 7000RPM redline - more in the 7500 range. With the new intake manifold and higher redline they also did a factory CNC P&P, claimed to use different heads, upgraded sinter-forged rods, upgraded mains, sodium-filled exhaust valves for heat dissipation.
