just to clear up any confusion about the song title, it was originally called 'Jesus wants me for a sunbeam' (was supposed to be ironic) but they re-released it in 1992 under the title 'Jesus doesn't want me for a sunbeam' which is the title Nirvana took for their cover.

@MANOLO84GLOTON22 Okay solving this, The Vaselines' version was in fact called "Jesus Don't Want Me For a Sunbeam", it was adapted from an old christian song called "Jesus Wants Me For a Sunbeam" and changed to be ironic or something.
