Thanks, I decided to go with a 27" quad-core IMac with 512 dedicated on an ATI :)

I can see that the video is turned down a bit and it is still a bit laggy in area's... but it is much better than all previous macbook pro's have performed! Now all they need to fix is there ridiculous price and I may consider them.

wow that would be nice, playing with all my settings turned up. i have to make it look so crappy just to get like 10 fps, which is playable, but this puts it to shame. need, mac, book.....lol

The site is Lockerz(dot)com. Unfortunately it's an invite only site, so if you would like to check it out for uourself and get your free macbook pro within weeks then send me a pm including your email and I will invite you (check your spam folder), heck they even pay for shipping!

The graphics look amazing on the macbook pro, haha the computer I used to play on didn't even allow me to see 20 feet in front of me, let alone shadows! I just got a macbook pro actually. And it was 100% FREE, I swear. I was a bit skeptical about this site at first but they really are legit.
What sort of temp does your mb pro run at when playing or what do you use to keep it down ?
Also do you use a mouse or the trackpad ?
cheers

@danielC204 I used to use a mouse but to be honest im just used to using the trackpad now so I just use that all the time now... I dont find that it changes in temp at all when playing wow... but I guess it just depends what your settings are at. Cataclysm is a bit harsh on the MBpros as it wont let you do certain increases on your settings... or even put them up atall!

How does it do in large raids or instances?
touchmesomehow 3 years ago 2
@touchmesomehow I find that it runs 100% smoothly in instances and raids so far... even in cataclysm my settings are as high as it will let me put them and still looking at a smooth fps. :)
