Windy Day At Silverwood

This was not the ideal day to kayak at Silverwood, but it was a great day to get some pictures at one of my favorite parts of the lake. If you do not mind kayaking in strong winds this is a great place but the wind is unpredictable and can go from calm to major blasting in the blink of an eye.

Margie, thanks for your kind words. I am not sure what I like better the glassy early morning calm when you can see lots of different animals, or later in the day when the wind is blasting and your arms get a paddle work out. I love kayaking though, and now I am a hooked on taking my camera and getting photos that I can share.

You can definitely sail there, but the wind likes to switch direction. Just go a few more hours and sail the ocean. :o)
Sailing is fun, too.
