@ritakeaton Hi Rita. I also do the band procedure but does not do nearly as good as the Gastric Sleeve and this has been documented in scientific studies. If you search my videos so you can hear the band patients talk and why they decide to convert to a sleeve you will see. Search for "LapBand vs Gastric Sleeve" on my Youtube Channel and look at the videos. If you get the band you will regret it at some point and you will like to convert your band to a sleeve like I see in many of my patients.

I've been approved for the band surgery....and I am soooo afraid....I like the idea of NOT having a foreign object in me, and listened to your little story. My husband says my stomach will stretch out again if I have your type of surgery ...what do you think? Any advice you give me will be greatly appreciated,...
