what do you do with the tomatoes, celery, onions, etc after it is marinaded? Do they get cooked also?

Is it okay to mix raw meat with the vegetables together in the marinade? But the spices sound amazing together with the ingredients.
Similar to what we do. What about saving time, money and conserving energy by using a pressure cooker instead to cook down the meat?
