I was raised Methodist, but joined the pentecostal church when I was a young woman. I am distressed at the way my denomination is trying to appeal to the youung by having their music sound like a rock concert. I loved the music of the COG and sincerely think we should return to our roots. People will be attracted to what is real, not an attempt to come down to where they are.

I agree with you Church of God people who are saddened by the fall from holiness your church has seen in recent years. I am a Baptist who found the Church of God in the 1950's and was thrilled by its holiness standards......something I had never seen. I saw the spiritual power in your services and was struck by it. I will never forget the great spiritual music.....it is this aspect that I miss so much now. I am sad beyond telling of your fall from such a glorious heritage.

@Ricadd3 My brother, you are so right. I really enjoyed this video. It brought back so many memories which I shall never forget. I thank God for my up-bringing in the Church of God. I have been given a rich heritage of which I am most thankful. I wish the church was like it use to be.

I am so proud to be a member of the Church of God and our church still believes in the old time way we still hold to the standards and minutes of years ago.It is a sad day when they let down on our teaching's we learned from our Holy Ghost filled pastors long ago.God Bless the ones who hold the faith and God Bless America.

It is a beautiful thing to hear this recording from not so long ago. It is a sad thing that the very thing Bro. Bennie S. Triplett spoke about, "Not compromising Bible Holiness", such a shame is no longer evident in most of this denomination, which I was born and raised in. It was the Church of God that showed me what TRUE Holiness is, and I am happy to say, there are still many who follow the Lord in this beautiful thing. Many "Talk" Holiness, but the evidence is mostly not there.
