  • if i had to choose one of those, i'd take the logitech. the only problem there is, that i'm using snow leopard and the logitech is not compatible with it. at least that is what i have heard. can anybody acknowledge that?

thanks for the video. you can really see the difference

  • @VEG4able I am using snow leopard, there is no compatibility problems with the logitech.

  • The Blue SOUNDS better, But Logitech LOOKS better picture! I"m thinking of just getting the blue for audio, and logitech for vid. what do you think?

  • honestly, the sound on the blue sucks. I returned it and got another Logitech. Everything about the blue eyeball 2.0 was rubbish!

  • haha, i was about to buy the Eyeball... not anymore... :) Thanks

  • Most welcome. This is the reason I made the video!

  • now this is odd. ive seen so many videos in which the eyeball has crystal-clear, and so was the video, under proper lighting. if i read correctly, there have been many defective eyeball units, so maybe im wrong, but you could have gotten a bad one

  • it is so obvious that the eyeball sounds wayyy better, the background noise is reduced so much and i can hear your voice more clearly, the logitech looks wayy better than the eyeball, hmm if only there was a webcam with the vid quality of the logitech and mic quality of Blue

  • the logitech definately looks better but the eyeball definately sounds better. I dont think you had the volume up on your eyeball because i can whisper and easily be heard, whereas i couldnt even understand what you were saying

  • themafia69, the Blue Eyeball is a condenser microphone (+webcam which really did kinda sucked); that is why the volume is so low. A condenser microphone is suppose to act this way and exclude all of the surrounding sound and environment to record deeper, more fuller vocals and instruments. If you really wanna show us what the Eyeball really sounds like, talk upclose to the microphone and I am SURE it will blow the QuickCam away. Although the video comparison on the two is out of the question.

  • There is a pulse at the top right corner though with the Logitech

  • @themafia69 thanks a lot

  • For general everyday purpose I use the Logitech pro 9000 for good video. For recording purpose I use the Blue Eyeball for good instrumental recording.

  • hey themafia, just wanted to say thanks for the video, you helped me out man.
