France Janov, would you agree with this post?: " Without touch and holding the baby dies. Deep regression needs touch and holding if requested, as well as reliving and externalizing. Dr Janov does not agree with what I have written in this area. Because physical nurture is transmuted into sexuality during adolescence, the world is terrified that it will happen in therapy. Check what I have written about this" .vereshack -You can find this at Paul Vereshack on U-tube
She has some very interesting comments and obervations here. A Dr. Ashley Montegu years ago, pointed out as well the absolute importance of Touching in a book he wrote about it. I have met many people in life who are not at all comfortable with touching. I would submit that had a lot to do with their upbringing or childhood experiences. I'm a former Primal Patient and I enjoy intelligent people in their efforts to help others better understand themselves and each other.
She is just talking about unmet needs resurfacing in adulthood, and the best way to let the patient be, or stay in contact with the resurfacing feelings.

Suffering is NOT feeling feelings that are coming up like she says.
Actually connecting them and feeling is not suffering.it is such a relief and a healing.

Too bad she and Janov didn't have children...see how the child did would have been the proof (or the disproof) that their theories work.
