  • Change the god damn tuning n play in correct octave!

  • Well... This is not a cello, neither a bass, so I just can't play in right octave. :-/

    Sorry you didn't like it.

  • I can play this in guitar as Bach wrote it. For most cofortability, all you have to do is change Low E to the lowest note in the prelude. Low C or 2 steps below. It does work out. The only problems you'll encounter are bars 33-37 (it's a long finger strecth). If you want my transcripture, I could give it to you

  • Ok... this looks like a nice challenge :-)

I will try! Thanks for your advice.

  • é, senhor Júlio, gostei!

  • Wow! I play the cello, and know how to play that song. I tried to play it on my friends guitar, and it didn't work out at all! Probably because I don't know how to play the guitar...... whoever was playing it in this video has a really great talent!

  • Essa música é tão boa que fica ótima em qualquer instrumento.

  • Yea its supposed to be a different tuning.. but who cares? It's still well played. Good job man. Enjoyed it.

  • Nice ! :))

  • OMG! I'm terribly sorry, as far as I know the original goes one step below the lowest note you can pluck in drop D. That's why I tune to C for the 6th string. I probably didn't read your comment since my eyes only spot out things I don't know in guitar (definetely not because I'm not interested in your opinion). I knew drop D a long time ago.

  • Obviously You didn't read the comment I made RIGHT after the comment you just read.

Read more carefully next time. My 2nd comment is right below this one...

  • G string tunning? A cello is tuned C-G-D-A. I tune the Guitar (1-6) E-B-G-D-A-C. I wouldn't play it diferently than what Bach wrote in G. But what is G string tuning? I'm all self taught so what do you mean by G string tuning?

  • shit I meant D string tuning. You tune your 6th string down to D to reach those low notes. I was listening to air on the G string so I said G tuning >.<

  • You're quite right. If you listen to Segovia's interpretation of this piece it's much more similar to the cello feel-which is what you're supposed to do for a piece from the cello suite.
