Mariah Carey Drunk Palm Springs Film Festival - Precious ( Based on the novel Push by Sapphire )

At the Palm Springs Film Festival on Tuesday night Mariah Carey accepted an award in a most peculiar way. The songstress seemed to be drunk. Yep, Mariah Carey appeared to be drunk. Carey was named Breakthrough Actress for her performance in the movie "Precious: Based on the novel Push by Sapphire."

As she walked onto the stage Mariah Carey grabbed onto her escort, leapt into his arms; she then took a deep breath stared at the ceiling and said, "You'll have to excuse me. I'm a little..." Someone in the audience yelled, "F-ed Up." Carey responded, "Yeah." She was a good sport about it and tried to pull herself together in order to give her acceptance speech, but it was clear Mariah Carey was drunk.

Hopefully we wont hold this against her as an artist, she was probably just nervous and needed to loosen up--she may have loosened up a little too much. Check out the video of Mariah Carey drunk.

Nah. I believe you're making Mariah responsible for things that are parental issues. If kids are raised properly they'll know they can't emulate celebrities behaviour. Plus Mariah is a 40 year old woman. I bet it's NOT the first time kids have seen an adult tipsy. Family and close environment are far more influential on a kid's behaviour. Mariah's behavior is 90% of the time positive. She is not Britney or Lindsay. Don't be so hard on her.
