These are not medieval Iranian paintings, but depiction of Iran by 17th & 18th century European visitors; mostly French and Italians..... etc.
The Iranian painters did not know about perspective. Instead they created all the beautiful miniatures and rug designs. Shah Abbas Safavi was the first king who actually sent a handful of select Iranian artist to Vienna to study western style painting. As a result, the ensuing period is muddled with heavy browns and black.

Great Idea and beautiful content but the editing seems too fast. I find myself pausing to get a good look. None the less, this is beautiful. Love the soundtrack...

Nice pictures depicting the life and the archhitecture of the times. Valuable images and nice video. Are the original pictures in color?

Hello Azarbadegan. These images are fantastic and your choice of music is wonderful (especially when the daf comes in at the right time) it goes really well.
There are Some pictures Without annotations,+ Name of Painters, I will add them later - You all know it takes time. Thanks everyone for your time.
