The sun may be waking up after its long 'sleep' with this big prom seen in red hydrogen light.

so when your actually looking at it you don't see the prominence moving? more like the light of what happened or what? i'm stumped...

@EficPail1 Proms when active move fast but are huge [much bigger than earth!] so changes seen over maybe an hour or so ;-) Remember it took DAYs for the astronauts to travel to the moon all those years ago and we thought they were moving fast!
