@SD457500 The black line was a cheap way of showing that they were not SOO anymore. The SOO SD60 Diesels were used for power swapping with CN on the GTW line in Michigan in the two years before they were sent to CEFX and INRD.
-
Soo SD60s 6000-6020 went to CEFX/INRD in mid 2006. When did a Soo unit have a black line through it while still under Soo ownership? I've never heard of, or seen that.
-
reminds me of the time i caught a CNW SD40-2, 1 or 2 bnsf H2 sd40-2s, and a soo line sd60 all on a general freight
-
Nice job, man! And to tell you the truth, even when SOO was still their own railroad, they sometimes had a black line like that drawn through their name. So trust me. That might not be a patch job at all.
-
Uh, if you don't like patch jobs, take a look at what Union Pacific did to the S.P. units. Or maybe you don't want to look. All I can say is one thing; BARF!
-
yeah I see CEFX 9395 and 9401 on the TPW like everyday go to Galesburg.
-
come down to IL to the TPW they have 2 CEFX SD45T-2's several other Railamerica lines have some railamerica lines think have all the CEFX SD45T-2's but dont quote me on that
-
Look ya got the Soo unit you had been hoping to see! I just hate CEFX's patch but at least it has Soo markings! Nice SD60 lash up! Very rare!
-
