Thats really sad the Corvette is pushing 11 lbs of boost and has a 350 not even making 800 hp, and the mustang has a twinscrew and a 331 and hundreds of lbs heavier and still kept up with it!

power to weight ratio is why the races were close.. vette has less power but it only weighs 3200 lbs, the shelby weighs somewhere around 3800.. awesome vid and a perfect display of american muscle competition..

@nebraskanimalhemi Shelbys aren't cheap to mod. The vette prob only has a few more grand in mods than the shelby. But, the price of mods don't mean the shelby won anything. The shelby raced the vette and got it's ass handed to it. Simple as that. The shelby is also prob pushing 20 psi on top of that.

@nbmblownZ (heads cams blower full exhaust)vs(after market blower and full exhaust) the vette has way more money invested cost more stock and is cheap fiberglass. I would take the 500 any day you can do so much more with the 500 and it isn't dime a dozen
