Pipeline drilling mud in creek , part 1

Latest accident by pipeline workers Susquehanna County. This is Laser Marcellus Pipeline . Silver Lake Township, Snow Hollow Road. Mud gushed out of drilling area into creek and polluted the creek and it's been contained mostly, but still some going downstream. This is an exceptional-value watershed. Here we talk to a worker and supervisor of the pipeline and they give their explanations.

Thank you for making this video. I grew up on this road, and it brings me to tears to know what is happening to my beloved home. I am involved in anti-fracking coalitions, demonstrations, and protests taking place around the country, and urge you to share your videos with local activist organizations such as the Gas Drilling Awareness Coalition. as of today, 8-2-11, the drilling mud has spread beyond the hay-bale barrier and heading for Silver Lake Creek that feeds into Salt Springs Park !!

@thewoodsman45 It's drilling mud, not fracking fluid. Gas well drillers want fracking, directional drillers do not want fracking. Drill mud=water plus bentonite. Fracking fluid is the one with the chemicals in it.

I honestly don't know because I was not there. But that really looks a mud pit built to pump the drilling mud around, as opposed to a blowout.

If it is drilling mud from directional drilling it is a mixture of bentonite and water. I don't believe it is toxic. It's not the same stuff as the "fracking fluid" the gas well drillers use. With drilling for a pipeline they are trying to prevent fracking.
