A short film I shot over the course of a day at Honolua Bay, Maui, Hawaii. The surf was overhead-double overhead, and glassy.

i see. i was under the impression that on very large days, because of a supposed underwater cave or hole of some sort, whorl pools could be created.

The inside section is called Keiki bowls... its not a whirlpool, but where the angle of the wave really tightens in.

its called Barnicles, by a band called Ugly Cassanova. Its Isaac Brock's side project (other than modest mouse).
