@TheVampireEd That's not entirely a fair comparison, Mark might be legendary for having the voice of the joker but to compare his visual performance you should match it to Nicholson's since he had physically been the joker like Ledger was.

who said anything about that? you assume a lot don't you? Heath was remarkable in the role, he went much deeper into the psychophysical indentity of the joker, and did so by playing around with his imagination. All the little facial ticks, hand gestures, the way he hunched, yet looked intimidating and confident, the recklessness he shows towards his body is there in every movement that he makes. It was amazing. Only other portrayal i can think of that parallels it is Jack Sparrow.
