Decades of research show that when parents are involved in their children's school and education, these children have:
- Higher grades, test scores, and graduation rates
- Better school attendance
- Increased motivation, better self-esteem
- Lower rates of suspension
- Decreased use of drugs and alcohol
- And fewer instances of violent behavior
School-age children spend 70% of their waking hours, including weekends and holidays, outside of school. It's no surprise that the family can have a dramatic impact on a child's learning and academic success -- in fact, the greater the involvement, the greater the impact on a child's achievement.
Research has shown that family participation in education was a better predictor of students' academic success -- more than their socioeconomic status.
only few parents as knows about this matter. As a teacher i would like to run this kind on program to development of student and school.

As a former teacher I agree with this video. I have also developed programs for schools, parents and communities to accelerate academic achievement.
