  • Absolutely FANTASTIC

    You are a lifesaver!!!!

  • Where did you buy the new screen ?

Sitting with a brooken 17" screen.

  • Thanks for this. My screen went out and I successfully took it apart. I have experience replacing many DVD drives, RAM and hard drives...but never screen. Was tired of Apple's high prices. Thank you!!

  • good video - just needed a close-up when you first put the putty knife in because it isn't clear which part the plastic rib stays with - the aluminium back or the lcd and frame. I thought it stayed with the frame and chavelled it quite a bit. I also note the inverter stays with the lcd - I bought a replacement lcd without inverter. Think I'm stuffed.

  • thanks so much, i bought this exact machine for $100 due to broken screen, and replaced it successfully thanks to your video and your help. I appreciate this so much ! you've saved me alot of money!

  • Yes, Thank You!

Somehow some dog hairs and dust managed to get in there...

  • thank you thank you thank you!

    keep up the good work!
