Oh yah, Than theres Van Halen....bet old eddie wishes he could play like Mr. Sir Speedy Fingers Jimmy Page.....keep practicing eddie, you might be as good as Jimmy someday...maybe your next lifetime......

Most of the bands and artists you mentioned i've never heard of! Probably a reason for that. Van Halen I know but the others sound like screamers!
You kinda remind me of that guy who complained over the popularity of the 02 gig! Can't remember but I think that was Clapton.
Zep are better live than they are in the recordings!

If you seriously think page is in the same league as Ed you've obviously never played a guitar in your life.

I'd actually like to state that I think Eddie's ability to play fast notes is probably superior to Mr. Page.
HOWEVER, Mr. Page has this thing called SOUL in his playing. It's not just showing off, it's being DIRTY.

@WeRockHard3211 lol that's a brutal approach, I like EVH's playing a lot... of course I enjoy Page's playing more but EVH has a nice style, sorta like Chuck Berry on steroids lol. I think the 77 Zep boot "Listen to this Eddie" was titled so because EVH made a bunch of anti Page remarks at some point...

Intro to black dog is, yes, out on the tiles. :01 to :03 is, i assume, part of the previous song, which is whole lotta love; after the middle section, instead of the solo, it goes into this.
