A song of Pete Seeger by CoverMarguerite. In this song the bells of Wales, celtic western part of Great Britain, are speaking together, the bells of the miner's town are weeping and mourning, the bells of the rich town Wye are laughing of them.

  • I first heard this a a folk club in Yorkshire, a central part of Britain's mining industry. It was also the time when Aberfan came into the news when a 'slag-heap' collapsed engulfing the village school. While your song also reminds us to pray for the Chilian Miners, we think of the devastation this industry can cause to whole families.

    Beautifully symplistic, dear friend. Thankyou.
