The sweetest patient

Last weekend this sweet patient "came by", more dead than alive. Now it's the opposite, but she has a long way to go. Working hard on that.

Im so sorry to hear that she didn't make it:( She was indeed a beautiful little soul. Im so glad she found you, and that you gave her some quality of life before she passed. Love and empathy goes a long way. You are a special person. God Bless

A very cute donkey, didn't mind at all with the nose tube. What did the ponies do to it exactly?

Very cute indeed. The ponies chased her away from the food and the water. In the end this appeared to be the effect and not the cause of the problems.

Yes horses' anatomy is a bit weird.

She had several infections, but a neuropathy caused her to get those and to get weaker. In the end she was euthanised.

How strange that the tube goes in the stomach through the nose and the lungs through the mouth!

So sorry to read that she died in the end! Was it the infection? At least she had lots of love in her last days/weeks.
