@ukendcx2000 The fashion look of Alex Wex and Naomi Campbell always seem to fall under the banner of "unconventional" or "exotic" as evidenced by the themes used in most of their photos and the wacky make-up they're made to wear. It is as if it where almost meant to suggest that they are not representative of the standard of beauty but rather an exotic caricature of the standard. Beverly Johnson looks like a white woman with a really great tan.

@JasonTyberiusKirk You're suggesting that she is not considered one herself in that video. Most dark skinned that are considered icons are in fashion, not entertainment. Alex Wex, Naomi Campbell, even Beverly Johnson back in the day were considered icons in their field. Unfortunately, entertainment, with its issues with colorism, you do not see it in the mainstream.
