Students in Kim Seamans' special education classroom know they have a lifelong friend and advocate. Kim sees the potential in each of her students and challenges them to excel beyond their personal expectations. She adapts her teaching to meet each student where they are at—whether they have unique medical needs or can only communicate through assistive technologies. Kim works hard to create a culture of acceptance for all students at Minnetonka High School. You will often see her students in general education classes or eating lunch with friends in the cafeteria like any other high school student.
