Ukrainians Chicago celebrate the 18th anniversary of independence

The 26th Annual Ukrainian Festival in Chicago's Smith Park (Ukrainian Village) gathers Ukrainians from all over America and abroad. In 2009 Ukrainians celebrate the 18th anniversary of independence. Ukrainian Days Festival is not only about official speeches and greetings, but it's also a two-day holiday concert, but also multi-color tent town representing local Ukrainian businesses and organizations, as well as restaurants and cafes, where one can try exquisite dishes from Ukrainian cuisine.
