The song itself is copyrighted Prince (who is quite a control freak, as you know). James Taylor there, in order to have the right to perform it in public legally is required to obtain a license from Prince or whatever agency Prince uses for such things. It may be your video, true... but it is Prince's words and Taylor's voice. Since it is easy to download this video onto my computer, I could have been given the opportunity to own a unique song at no cost to me! Both Prince & Taylor would lose.

yeah, i know! YouTube took the sound off because they said the song was copyrighted; although, it is my video and it isn't Prince performing the song...silly if you ask me...

The sound was removed on this video because they said the song was copyrighted...I guess even if someone else is performing the song the record company doesn't care...they "own" they song....
