I honestly don't think that there is a better ammunition out there than HST
-
That's the most impressive round of them all, unfortunately it's expensive. Great vids.

@BadAssRednecks19 per SA Rep:
Thank you for your interest in our XD(M) .45 model. I am happy to say that yes, the barrel is a fully supported match grade barrel. You can shoot +P and or +P+ in the XD or XD(M) models, but we do not recommend a steady diet as it can be hard on the firearm. Have a great day! You couldn't shoot a 45/70 derringer !! I seen single action revolvers chambered for it with 7 inch BBls and people had a hard time shooting those ! 45-70 derringer, yea right !

@TommyGuns40 If you dont have a .45/70 derringer or larger, you will lose

I could get HST 45 standard pressure no problem, the +P's have been hard to come by in this round. Both are very good rounds though and I don't feel undergunned with either one. Same thing with Hydra-Shok 230 gr +P, hard to find.
The only thing compareable to this round is the Ranger-T.

@deusness Dunno if you've already had this question answered since it's been a year, but I've found that Hornady's Critical Defense feeds in all my .45s, picky 1911s included. And the round is standard pressure, yay!

@andreleger2001 .45 acp high point carbine
do you know if the springfield XDm .45 is +p rated? i assume so with a match grade barrel

@BadAssRednecks19 I am almost positive XDm's are fine with +P ammo. XDm's are strong well made guns. You might check your manual to be sure.
