  • I wish I had seen your video a year ago, I would have saved $200 in saddles. When I got my new bike, I took off the firm racing saddle , for a softer gel saddle. Never got comfy. I ended up putting the original saddle back on, a Selle San Marco Ponza, because I sold the gel saddle and I couldn't find the other 2 saddles I had been trying That was 3 months ago. I have never been more comfy. I ride 3 to 4 centuries a year and I've done 2 on the Ponza.

All your videos are very informative.

  • I have never found hard, narrow, saddles to be at all comfortable so why do so many people popularize them since they create dangerously high pressure points on the hips? I have used gel pads on a seat which improved the comfort and didn't mind them sliding around.

The most comfortable seat I've used is a fairly wide gel saddle which is comfortable for several hours use. Skinny seats for skinny people? Try a 50 lb backpack on a narrow seat and you'll quit using them after the 1st hour..

  • wtb´s are the best

  • Video is ok... but the speaker need to get pants that fit... their ready to bust.
