Jury Acquits Wesley Snipes of Tax Fraud

Wesley Snipes was found not guilty of federal tax-fraud and conspiracy charges Friday, but was convicted on three misdemeanor counts of failing to file a tax return. He could face three years in prison. (Feb. 1)

I recall reading somewhere that he feels wronged by his jail term because he is unable to contribute to society while in prison. How does he contribute to society exactly? its not like he performs open heart surgery or was just about to find a cure for cancer went he was sent down. He is just a bloody actor.
