@mrmres Lets see. Holding my Les Paul right now. Nope, no dead spots on any fret. Stays in tune better than my Schecter and Fender. Maybe you have a lemon of a guitar but my Gibby kicks all my other guitars in the ass!

Gibson's Like Harley in this country Damnn

And yet Obama gives Solyndra $500,000,000 of taxpayer money and watches it go bankrupt because it is bullshit technology. Time for the American people to do our own "raid" on Washington and throw out the old wood there and plant the seeds of a new Liberty tree.

Okay, so we're used to Fox News getting everything wrong, but in this case they're not even on the correct side of the planet. This has nothing to do with shipping jobs to India. It has only to do with the military coup in Madagascar in 2009, and the role that Gibson's wood purchases from that country have played in keeping the illegitimate government afloat. When we can't even legislate federal auto emissions standards, you think we care about endangered Malagasy rosewood? Get real.

Gibson's CEO is a republican? That's why they got raided? NAH! Maybe Obama is merely sick & tired of his Les Paul going out of tune all the facking time, & all the dead spots on the neck. Barack got so fed up that he had to commission Kris Derrig to build him a replica for $4,200!

fox news, here we go again...
are there still people watching prolly the worst news channel there is?

@greatpix India approved the exports. Customs at both ends of the trip signed of on the export from India and the import to America.
Gibson bought finished fingerboard blanks and Indian workers completed the finished blanks. Then every level of government approved the export.
Then U.S. officials over-ruled the Indian government after the fact.

No a fender is a harley in this country haha, still much love to gibson

This has nothing to do with Democrats or Republicans etc. Its more likely a stipulation by the Indian government that in order for us to get the Indian wood Indian workers have to assemble it, much like the US stipulates certain exports have to meet certain criteria, like assembly by US workers.
So the Indian government complains and the US has to step in. Did they have to send law enforcement? No. I wonder if Gibson got a 'cease and desist' notice and ignored it?

FUCK what else is it gunna take people. WAKE UP. hellllooo
This is not about the wood. This is about shipping the company Gibson guitars overseas. They don't want the American people to have anywhere to work. Political motivation much? A much to much!
