A Kimchi Fusion Taco is a creative combination of Kimchi and Mexican tacos. Kimchi is a spicy fermented cabbage that is used as a side dish that comes with every Korean meal. But, due to its strong taste and smell, some people are hesitant to try it. However, we discovered that it tastes and smells much milder when Kimchi is sauteed. For instance, sauteed Kimchi goes very well with beef because it complements the beef flavor, and adds a little bit of spice. We decided to put sauteed Kimchi into our tacos and it tastes amazing!

• ATTENTION WHITE PEOPLE: WARM THE TORTILLAS BEFORE YOU EAT THEM!

  • @clarita311 LOL i agree!!

  • I am a California with a Korea wife living in Seoul. This looks about like ever meal we eat.

  • Yeah nice try for a white guy for sure man. Im guessing your from the midwest so you deffinatly get bonus points for that ....although.....being a half mexican/asian guy from Los Angeles I have to recommend NOT EVER using ground beef or that taco seasoning stuff ever again. We just dont do that. Or black olives. Get some flap meat & marinate tampico, onion garlic and celantro. ALSO, NEVER flour tortillas, always corn, small, and heat them on a cast iron skillet. Cheese is also kinda wierd to

  • Those elements really aren't mexican at all. Your asian side of the dish wasn't too bad. Although it would be a bit better with some awsome Banchan. Anyways. Cool stuff man!

  • I appreciate your effort, but that does not compare with the real Mexican tacos. He lacks a true salsa, and thus put onion, did not really want to provide it.

  • Nice work, we liked your video very much so we embedded it on ChefCommons . com w/ link back and reference to Youtube. (Let us know if you don't wish for it to be featured)

  • 1. Where are the hot peppers? Both cuisines use them

    2. To make it even more fusion Try soy sauce, ginger, a bit of sugar and cumin instead of taco mix that is pricey and MSG laden .

    3. If you want to save some calories, try using lettuce to wrap the meat instead of tortillias, or try both options.

    Hispanic in Korea.

  • WHY? Owhy? dont you heat up your tortilla? they are not meant to be eaten like that! its like eating it raw.. well not really i just never got why white people never heated them up not trying to be mean..

  • 매우 맛있어보이네요 기회가 된다면 저도 만들어 보고 싶어요^ __ ^
