This is the piece I went down to South America to film. It is a about the discovery of a traditional Peruvian rug-weaver and the founding of a nonprofit organization, Comunidad. This nonprofit helps to provide primary education for the children of the Paccha region of central Peru. This region was devastated by the atrocities of the Shining Path terrorist organization in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It is a miracle that Pam and Melanie Ebertz found Wilbur Quispe. It is even more amazing that his story even happened.
