Too bad it wasn't an 8-string mandolin - the 4-string more like guitar - but I like it anyway. I play an Epiphone Mandobird VIII mainly, along with my other instruments.

try the godin A8. best electric mandolin sound ive ever heard!

I have one of them. :)
What patch are you using, man? I've been looking for a good sound out of that thing.

Wow! Sounds great! I've never heard a mandolin play heavy blues. What is the model number of the Zoom pedal that you are using?
Thanks.

Nice playing and sweet sound.
Thats a 4 string mandolin, not solidbody with a single coil and run thru a guitar amp. Right?
What brand and what single coil? Any advice for a solidbody mandolin ( I know the mandobird and the mandocaster) ? Greetz!B.

it's half the pickup of the Fender precision bass.
see it on mahjun(dot)free(dot)fr/mando(dot)html
it runs thru a zoom guitar pedal, then direct to the PA with a DI box.
II have no solid body mando, sorry.
