@itsayellowfig ha well its ovious the only ppl who hate each other our the british and american ppl. the goverment officials are buddys but the recent war with iraq is makeing many of our european allies like france and britiin question should we be so close to america (they do seem to drag us into wars a lot) i dont hate britain i hate anti-americans in britain who insult us with no facts!
sometimes i regret the fact that we didnt go to war with britain over the faklands war thing leaglly argentina was our allie and was attacked even if they attacked first we were surpposed to go to war with britain over it wish we did...
Why because no one else wants to change before anyone else in europe, there is always the threat that employers would move the work to another european country.
If the European elections are over run with anti EU rhetoric thats hardly grounds to complain about policy. We are in europe!
Europe must set EU wide laws on work. This provides a level playing field accross the entire region. Stoping employers taking advantage of different policies in different states.
Why exactly should the EU set our 4 holiday period? I agree with it, but if I don't, why can't I vote the people who set the policy out?
Why exactly should the EU set our flexible working policy? I agree with it, but if I don't, why can't I vote the people who set the policy out?
And please don't pretend that people vote in EU elections on the basis of EU issues - except perhaps, in the crudest way, for UKIP. Overwhelmingly, EU elections are about national issues.
@itsayellowfig i hope you burn in hell. you're just as anti-american as the german media is or britians BBC so fuck off!

I am not sure whether peace is to be mentioned here. For instance, would EU have helped Britain in the Falklands issue ?
