All social orders fall into some kind of hierarchy, so people compete for competence and superiority on certain matters. It helps later in deciding who to trust for certain jobs. In primitive societies, it could save your life. you had to know who was stronger than you and who would make a lousy archer when enemies approached. So we naturally compete. Nothing wrong with it. We figure out our place that way, e.g., if other people didn't have crooked decayed teeth, Chris's would not seem so great.

Good lesson! I'm really enjoying your videos. Your lessons are similiar to my own. Which intrigues me even more. But yes, admitting your wrong at times is step 1 to alot of things that lead to self-discovery. Big big big step!
