Dupe's Speaker Ball - Balchin almost loses his "bals"

Sunday, February 18, 2007 - The third and deciding match of the Canada West QF between the Manitoba Bisons (white) and the UBC Thunderbirds (blue). Manitoba is up 1-0, and this is set point for UBC in set 2. Kyle Duperron is set a quick from setter Jared Krause. Apparently, the ball hit one of the speakers hanging from the ceiling of the gym after going through Matt Balchin's legs.

Wow, that was a sick hit. Big bounce...lol, the team goes nuts. Where was the other team's middle? You could have drawn a line from the hitters angle of approach to where the ball landed...not to mention that "tappy toes" thing he's doing before the setter sets. It's kinda hard to get help from the RS there...but someone coulda took AOA? Either way even giving that shot, not many people could have planted it in front of the attack line like that, very sick.
