right...i agree...that's a very good analogy! But the improvement is there...and it's quite impressive to be honest for a car which not a hybrid...imagine if VW actually makes a Blue Motion Hybrid reaching up to 100-120 MPG...wouldn't it be a major upside in the future of automotive...don't we agree on that?

"A simple way to act now", as the ad says, is to use less a car. Walk, cycle, use public transportation. This is what really makes difference. Everything else is crap to sell more cars, that will still polute.

People are still going to buy cars, at least this is a step to reducing the impact of them. Walking - not possible if your commute is 10 miles each way,cycling is like taking your life in your own hands and public transport you don't get a seat,it's expensive and unreliable... I tried to get the tube last week, got to the station to find it closed and no staff to tell all the people waiting why - i walked home and got my motorbike to work.
