Shunting on top voltage with no bottom balancing. MAJOR FAIL!
Can you shunt a set of 100ah cells each with your 1 watt resistor? I think not! Do the maths.
Try it and your electric car will end up like all the other cars with top balancing BMS .. In flames!
But meanwhile will be killing the batteries that go zero volt on discharge before the others.
Sorry, but these batteries need to be understood. Please learn off the lessons of others. Don't copy the failures.

Nice! I was planning on using the same BMS (36 cells, Thundersky) for mine, but think i'm going to wait for the V4 boards. I had some lingering questions about some things, but this video actually answered some of them.
