Hi BrandonJackie, I feel their union was doomed from the beginning, I am not sure Elvis wanted to get married and maybe was and I say maybe, resentful that he felt he had to get married. I believe as you that Priscilla may not have always have been the cold person she is today, I see pictures of her when they first got married actually smiling and liking signing autographs with the fans, I see nothing of that woman today, its a shame because we fans would all like to like her but sadly don't.

This was a great song and very good lyrics and fits the picture of some peoples lives I don't think it was the case where ELVIS was concerned. There were millions of women who would have LOVED HIM FOREVER. I for one think maybe after a while because she wasen't in the limelight she began to resent him for being away. But she did give him Lisa Marie. At least we have her and his grandchildren and his music. Thats enough for me. His artistic abilities were beyond comprehension. Hugs Bobbie LOVE

@Mrsaliyah2010, Elvis didn't give her the attention she wanted and she found it with someone else. He and her both stepped out of their marriage. So NO thats not what changed the way she felt about Elvis. Yes Elvis was addicted to priscription drugs and yes he loved food but he was bloated from the way he treated his body over the years and had a lot of health problems. You should pick up a book and read what Elvis's problem was and a good book to start on is Elvis and ME.

@Mrsaliyah2010 , Thank you for your comment and opinion. I don't believe you know to much about the history of Elvis and Priscilla or you would have a better understanding of why she left Elvis. But then again its always easy to cast judgement when you're on the outside looking in and never walked in their shoes. Elvis wasn't a "food junkie" and when Priscilla was with him he was in very good shape as a matter of fact. She left Elvis because he was working all the time and was never around.

I dont think Priscilla would have given him the time of day if she had known that he would turn into a food junkie and a drug addict. THAT is what changed the way she felt about him aswell having to bring up a small child in those surroundings.
