  • @yekomsbob This is so true--- it is the district that has set up all financial aid in peralta up for failure. The staff are working their butts off and can't get ahead no matter what.

  • Three years later, the same shit is still going on.

  • thanks so much they do the same to me

  • Complaining to or about the staff accomplishes nothing, they have no control over the current situation. Your anger and comments need to be directed to the proper place...the Peralta District Offices.

  • It is more complex than you think. It is true that if you complete your FASFA early you will, under normal circumstances, receive your PELL monies on time. It the situation that currently exists throughout the Peralta system everything is delayed. The reason is not the fault of the staff at the counters, in many cases they are victims as well because they have not been informed about the true nature of the problem. I will continue in the next comment down.

  • Give me a damn break. There are rules.

Each time a person decides to switch schools they have to have their fafsa application transfered as well as go through the WHOLE process all over again with the school that they FINALLY choose to go to... this includes turning in requested paperwork.

One school cannot decide eligibility for another school even though it's the same student. AND schools do not share student's information with one another.

    Do your homework!

  • This finacial government aid sounds sorta commie no? not that society educating it's people is bad but many countries don't even get roofs.
