St. Louis Police and Archbishop intimidate protestors at Basilica Cathedral

Apparently the Archbishop thinks he can flex his muscles by calling on St. Louis' finest to intimidate peaceful protestors outside the Cathedral Basilica on Sunday December 13th.

Catholic Action Network and Show Me No Hate has been showing up in front of the church for the past two Sunday's without incident and today the Police supervisor with badge name "Hurt" showed up to intimidate Catholics and non-Catholics. The police claim the protestors were causing traffic 911 complaints. The video shows that at no time were any of the protestors in the street. They were by their parked cars, no different than what they did the previous weeks. Why on this Sunday were they threatened to move back? I suspect the Archbishop was involved in pressuring the police to intimidate.

What's funny in this video is that the officer claims the protestor is in the way traffic yet he sees my car (with 25 others cars) that are parked all at a 45 degree angle. For the past two Sundays we also held signs in the very same location. This video captures one of the protestors taking signs out of his car when the officer approached. Officer Hurt never let the peaceful protestor into his car and in a strange act of near property damage, the officer starts to take off an VOTE OBAMA-BIDEN magnet.

The officer claimed I was not following orders of a city police officer which apparently is a city ordinance.

Organizers of the protest charge the Archbishop's office as the bully who called the Police to carry out its orders to intimidate the peaceful protestors.

@Imsmartyourdumb How did we act? Were you even there? We were respectful to the officers and the Catholic church members on the two Sundays PRIOR to this officers rubbish. We did nothing unlawful -- our proof? HE DIDN'T ARREST ANYONE! HE LIED ABOUT 911 calls. Now, I respect the good officers in the St. Louis Police dept, there are many, but this guy makes the rest look terrible, enough said. We had no beef with the Police.
