Can't wait to get my FM-100 now! Thanks for the info! Just curious, is it difficult playing two strings as one? I come from the violin and guitar, so I'm hoping this should be fairly…simple, well not extremely hard, but does you sometimes find your pick stuck between two strings? Or is there no trouble at all? Again, thanks!

use a small jazz pick while playing, the double strings are actually for doing tremolo, i play the mandolin but mostly Italian music so tremolo is what im best at

@bushcraftourway i have no standard of reference as i'm not a "mandolinist" (or whatever the proper term is). it seems solid and well-built to me. dunno how it stacks up against other mandolins. i'm still mostly a classical guitar / uke guy, but i'd say if you're in the market for a mandolin, the complete pack is probably worth $200.
